A group of hares is called a drove, although they are generally solitary animals,

They are born with eyes open and fully furred.

They live above ground, in a scrape.

Young are only fed once every day, usually in early evening.

The young are independent in 3 weeks.

A baby hare is called a leveret.

They can run at over 30 mph.
